It was an amazing Easter church service last week. Tons of people showed up. It reminded me of the Christmas service. It reminded me how each year a significant portion of the body of Christ shows up for Christmas and Easter services to enjoy Christian fellowship, and praise and worship the Creator and Savior of the world…Jesus Christ. Sometimes people feel disconnected from God. I hear people pray, "Lord, why are you so distant?" If you read the Psalms you'll see a cycle of appeals to God such as Psalm 10:1, "Why, Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?". What does this say about God and us?
